Jennifer Hoff

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in grant development and communications, including grant writing, program development, public relations, marketing, special event management, magazine feature writing, university teaching, and professional writing. Jennifer’s passion for helping nonprofits and municipalities fulfill their mission and expand their impact led her to launch Skye Strategies in 2010 so she could broaden the reach and impact of her work. Her vision paid off, as Skye Strategies was named the Chattanooga Area Chamber’s Small Business of the Year in 2017.
Jennifer’s professional positions have included Director of Public Relations for WTCI-PBS, Program Administrator and Grant Specialist for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Grant Writer and Trainer for Research Associates, a national grant development firm. Jennifer has published more than 55 articles in regional magazines and is a contributing writer for Chattanooga magazine.
Jennifer has held numerous board positions, including President and Co-Founder of the Chattanooga Writers Guild, Member of the WTCI Board of Directors, Chair of the WTCI Community Advisory Board, Secretary of the Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association, and member of the Scenic Land School Board of Trustees. Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in English: Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a B.A. in English from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She has completed several leadership programs and holds professional certifications in grant writing and management.
